A surprise-themed adventure packed with creativity, dancing, and one of the most exciting camps of the summer. -

Beyond skills, this intensive focuses on style, placement, and performance quality—helping dancers move with intention, confidence, and the kind of presence that stands out on stage.

Refine your technique and deepen your artistry through ballet-based and lyrical training that connects movement with emotion.
Dancers will build a stronger foundation in classical placement while learning to find beauty, control, and storytelling within every movement.
Summer at Next Step Dance ☀️
Summer at Next Step Dance is a continuation of our season—designed to give dancers the space to grow, connect, and truly enjoy their dance journey.
Following recital, we will take a short two-week break (June 7–21).
Classes resume beginning June 22 and continue through the summer.
Unlike traditional programs, summer at NSD isn’t a separate session—it’s an opportunity to slow down, dive deeper into training, and experience dance in a more relaxed, creative environment. With fewer school commitments, dancers are able to build confidence, strengthen technique, and create lasting friendships.
Our weekly class schedule will remain consistent, with occasional adjustments to ensure classes stay strong and engaging. In some cases, similar classes may be combined to provide the best possible experience for our dancers.
Summer Offerings
✨ One-Day Movement Camps
Fun, high-energy experiences designed to spark creativity and exploration. Dancers will try new styles, learn exciting choreography, and enjoy themed crafts and activities.
• $10 for currently enrolled dancers (covers supplies)
• $30 for non-enrolled dancers
✨ Summer Intensives
Focused training opportunities for dancers looking to grow technically and artistically.
• Jazz Intensive Monday June 22nd - 24th - 9:00am-11:30am
• Technique & Lyrical Intensive Monday July 20th-22nd - 9:00am-11:30am
• $50 for currently enrolled dancers
• $120 for non-enrolled dancers
Enrollment & Priority Access
Dancers currently enrolled for the NSD26 season will receive priority registration for all summer classes and programs.
Summer is built into our season, and dancers are expected to continue through August unless a drop request is submitted.

One of the biggest benefits of continuing through Summer 26’ is guaranteed priority registration for our NSD27 season!With the explosive growth we experienced this year, we anticipate even more demand for our classes in the upcoming season.
To meet the needs of our growing dance family, we will be expanding our schedule and adding new classes. However, this also means that class times and availability will be adjusted based on studio space, staff schedules, and demand. By staying enrolled through the end of the NSD25 season (August 15, 2026), your family will receive priority access to class selection before registration opens to the public.
